Susan Hiller's works sounds familiar for me, I write about my colorful dreams everyday as well as she did it, but she also organized a group of people who share their dreams, I found it interesting.

time sculpture

I am trying to start my wooden-canvas sculpture, I have so much works to do before I start making in wood! When I was in wooden workshop, I spoke with guy who work there and I tried to explain him what I want to realize and our final decision was to make ball bearing consequently I have to go to metal workshop. In this workshop, staff guy advise me to buy the ball bearing in the website, because he hasn't got any equipment to make it, so I am looking now at this web page and ball bearing 22 mm cost 60p and minimum cost to buy is 10#, so I will call tomorrow to know where can I buy it in store. It's really long way.

memory

I starting to make new piece of work and again about memory, but probably not about olfaction! First of all, I wanted to make large wooden art work in christmas holiday, but now I understand that it's too difficult to realise it and also after all I have to keep this item! So, once upon a time new idea light up my mind! I want to carry on with memory theme and to do 'memory clock', in my childhood, in 90's,  I saw strange game, it's looks like small pinball, but in another way, it's small maze pyramid and you need to push the ball into the hole, I really want to find it! So, I want to make average size mount and in the middle of it will be the clock hole with one minute ball. I think, it's so hard to calculate everything to make one minute clock and moreover to do it in wood! Firstly, I decided to make a model in clay, maybe it may help me.

I like his ideas, I already think about mental people, when I talked with my friend about our relatives! They are totally sick! Her uncle, or somebody I can't remember who is exactly, always going out with the gun, he always shows his gun to everybody, but he does not even take a large position in the workplace!

I would like to carry on with my idea about smells memories, this theme for me is wide open and it will be good  to research more.

Turner Prize: Susan Philipsz wins with Lowlands Away

Yesterday was announced who is the winner 2010 Turner Prize. Susan Philipsz has won this year's Turner Prize for a sound installation that features her singing three versions of a Scottish lament.

The Glasgow-born artist, 45, was presented with the £25,000 prize at a ceremony at Tate Britain. Philipsz beat Dexter Dalwood, Angela de la Cruz and The Otolith Group to take the prestigious award.

And Finally my work has done ! I tried the best way to show my installation, the most sophisticated thing is I've found great piece of wood to present my work, my first idea was to hang my work on the ceiling and behind installation to put painting, but I've changed these things into one installation in the wall and I think it's great. In the triangle space, I suppose we have found good way to show our works, for example, tent was great in the middle because it was big piece of work and it's good to work with different scales. Next to me was large colored piece and also it was so closer to me, I think next time I need to find place more better. I like work with duvet sounds, it's smth new for me, but I think for this piece we can find better place, because I don't like two paintings behind it. Nevertheless, it was good experience, we have to take it for granted and will do better next time ;)
